Pollination Legacy Chapter 56

  • Feb. 22nd, 2012 at 5:07 PM

Hello and welcome back to my sims 3 legacy using Pinstar's rules. (Rules link now updated as the Boolprop forum moved) If this is your first time here please start at Chapter One.

I am using the optional Patriarchy rule and I am using Twallan's master controller mod for pollination only due to the nature of sims alien procreation procedures. For those that are unaware, in the sims 2, male sims could be abducted and impregnated by a male alien sim. In keeping with that theme this legacy will contain male couples and should you find that material offensive then this legacy is not for you.

Chapter 56: Something In The Water

Previously in the Pollination Legacy, George joined Kinsey in his elder years, Light-Year moved out and found a place of his own, Meteor purchased The Bunker, some changes were made to the house and Plasma failed at using Quasar to uncover the secrets of the habitation module.

Chapter 52: Green Door, What's That Secret You're Keeping.

As we return to the Pollination Legacy, Plasma had just aged up into a teenager and gained the snob trait.

And Meteor was in the middle of a date with Notzo Curious.

Meteor: We are both excitable? This is never going to work between us.

Meteor: Well let us at least have an affectionate hug goodbye just for show for the lady that has been screaming out about alien pedophiles all through our date.

After finishing her slice of birthday cake, Plasma decided to go down to the habitation module. She had heard about founder Nine and his evil genius and was hopeful that she would find some inspiration.

Plasma: Well my great great grandfather sure liked lime green. Not the evil inspiration I'm after though.

Plasma: These awards on the walls can not be the only evidence of his genius still here.

Meanwhile up in the house, Light-Year had convinced Titus the maid to stay a while after finishing work for the day.

With as much subtlety as a brick to the head, he scooted along the couch to make his move.

Light-Year: So how about you and me go watch TV in my room. I have a flat-screen on the wall and my bed is quite comfy.

Titus: I have to go sorry. Gotta get up early for work in the morning.

Plasma: Why have I never noticed that this room has stairs going down? Is there more to the habitation module than the living quarters?

Plasma descended the stairs and discovered the habiation module was larger than she first thought.

Plasma: This looks like some sort of command centre. I bet there is all sorts of evil things left here by Nine.

Plasma: Oh and this must be where Nine spent all his time learning about this world before the mission.

Plasma: Ugh! This door is locked! I bet that's where all Nine's most evil plans were kept.

Plasma: I must figure out some way to get in. I can't let a simple door stand in the way between me and my destiny of evil.

Plasma: Nine would not have locked his secrets away without leaving some clues for his worthy evil descendants to find. I need to start looking.

Kinsey: Good morning Quasar, my little heir in the making. Time to foster your genius and teach you some more skills you're going to need when you grow up and take over the mission.

Kinsey: But first we can't forget about a good tickle session. The tickle monster is going to get you!

After a good night of rest Plasma began looking for the clues she was sure Nine had left for her. She began by fixing Nine's old lap top as a likely place to start her search.

Plasma: Damn! Still nothing. That Nine was a crafty old alien. I should have known it would not be this easy.

As night fell Meteor left the house to go work the bar at the Bunker again.

It was again a quiet night so Meteor spent most of his time cleaning glasses and checking out Boris the bouncer whenever he thought Boris wasn't looking.

Plasma: Hypothetically speaking, if you were and evil genius with a buried rocket ship, where would you hide all of your top secret evil plans?

Orbital: What colour is the hypothetical rocket?

Plasma: Never mind. Forget I asked.

The night had passed slowly for Meteor. Not a single sim had walked into the club tonight, aside from the staff, so Meteor took a break and went into the spa room.

He had been expecting to work behind the bar all night so he had not brought along his swimwear. As the club was empty Meteor thought it wouldn't matter if he went without and jumped in the spa naked.

Boris: Ah here you are. I was wondering where you had gone when I noticed there was no one behind the...

Boris: Oh my! I'm going to pretend that's a fishing rod and go back to standing by the door.

Meteor: The place is dead. No one is going to come in now when we are due to close in half an hour. Why don't you join me?

Boris: Well this is a lot more fun than standing outside by the door in the cold night air.

Meteor: Glad to see you loosen up a little tonight. You don't have to always behave like the brick wall of a bouncer they pay you to be. See you tomorrow.

Then Meteor walked out to his car slightly mad at himself.

Meteor: Notzo better have his birthday soon. My pollination instincts are hitting critical mass.

That's all for this chapter. Until next time enjoy your simming.

Next Chapter is now posted.

Orbital: Oh great! That Laurie Peoples chick has followed me home from school.

Orbital: Look Laurie if you're going to visit someone you have a crush on its a good idea to take a bath first.

Orbital: Because up close you're rather pretty. Good hygiene would help people get close enough to see that.

Kinsey: Look out. Coming through. An old friend of mine's house just caught fire.

Plasma: Damn this stupid homework. I want to come along and watch things burn.

Kinsey went over to Rebecca Jasper's home and started to douse the flames. Rebecca was a fellow firefighter until her recent retirement.

Kinsey: Becca why the Plumbob are you freaking out? You've been fighting fires longer than I have.

Rebecca: I have? Damn this old age. I'd forget my own plumbob if it wasn't programmed to follow me everywhere.

Then Kinsey rescued a Rebecca's grandson from the flames, throwing the young lad over one shoulder and carrying him to safety.

Laurie: Thanks so much for inviting me over to your house Orbital.

Plasma: Invited? I thought she just followed you home?

Orbital: Might have been a misunderstanding. My saying "Catch you later" as we left school may have been translated incorrectly through the crush filter.

Kinsey finished saving Rebecca and her family and returned home for Quasar's first birthday. Now he only needed to rescue two more sims to finish his life time goal.

The family gathered round to celebrate as Kinsey helped Quasar blow out his candles.

Quasar sparkles into his toddler years and George's orange eyes are handed down through the genes.

George: Ok Quasar we let you stay up a little later for your birthday but now its time for bed.

George: Get a good nights rest. Tomorrow we can start teaching you how to walk and talk.

George: Potty training another kid tomorrow. I think I need a drink. I'm getting too old for this.

Meteor: Lucky for you I have made a selection to chose from. Hey why not try one of each and left me know what you think.

Kinsey: One day soon I have to decide who my heir will be to get married and produce the next generation for our family mission. I have to chose between you, my good little genius, or your brother Meteor, a hot headed party animal that likes spending a lot of his time hanging out in bars. Actually, saying all that out loud I think it seems pretty clear who the best choice is.

Quasar: Me heir?

That morning two maids showed up. I have no idea why and this seemed to cause some confusion for the maids as well.

New Maid Rory: Awe I was going to clean that.

Titus: This is my gig. Go find yourself another family.

As Meteor had now hit his young adulthood it was time to add his portrait to the gallery. Light-Year got to work on the paining.

When that was done Meteor went back to his mixology practice at the bar, testing all of his new drink creations.

Meteor: I shink thish one needsh a little more abshinth. Hic!

Meteor: Yesh thatsh what it needed. Hic! I jusht created the perfect drink. Hic!

Later that evening, when he had sobered up enough to drive, Meteor took the saucer down to the Bunker night club.

Meteor: I heard that you were looking for some casual bar staff. Any chance you could give me a trial run?

Boris: I'm just the bouncer. Go ask the boss inside.

It was a slow night at the Bunker so it was perfect for giving a trial run to their newest bar staff.

The following morning it was time for the next step in Quasar's toddler training as Kinsey started to teach him to walk.

George had to take over though as Kinsey rushed off to fight another fire. Only one more sim to save now.

Meteor: Hey Notzo, Meteor here. I was wondering if you would like to go out to dinner tonight down at the bistro. Ok see you there at six.

Meteor headed down to the bistro to find Notzo already waiting for him.

Meteor: I forgot just how much younger than me you are and that this would still be a school night for you. I'll make sure you get home in time to do your school work after dinner.

As the sun began to set Quasar learned to walk. Kinsey then helped him learn a few tunes on his xylophone before it was time for bed.

The meal arrived and Notzo and Meteor sat down for a romantic meal together.

Notzo: Something wrong Meteor? You look like you just saw a ghost.

Meteor: Sorry Notzo. I was distracted by the lady across the road screaming out something about alien pedophiles.

Nebula finished her after school project at the grocery shop and took a taxi home. As she passed the bistro she saw Meteor and Notzo on their date. Meteor must have forgotten about Plasma's birthday tonight she thought to herself.

So the birthday party went ahead without Meteor.

And Plasma grew up into an interesting looking teenager with a good mix of genetics from both fathers showing in her face.

Plasma added to her mix of ambitious, evil and absent minded by becoming a snob.

Chapter 50: Half A Century.

Last chapter saw Meteor and Notzo finally together as boyfriends.

Orbital's work out on the treadmill was interrupted by the budding romance. He went out into the back yard to work out by breaking a few boards instead.

Now that there is no baby sharing their room Kinsey and George have started playing "I'm a fireman" again.

In the morning George was up first. He got out of bed well before he was fully rested.

The reason for him getting up so early soon became apparent as he raced into the bathroom.

While in the middle of being sick George's life time goal of having 20 friends was completed. I thought this a little strange then discovered the reason. He now gets such a big boost on friendships that new people he meets become instant friends and when a new maid turned up she became a friend without ever having to talk to him. I found myself wondering though what had happened to Titus the previous maid.

Kinsey spent his Sunday painting again. This time Jeremy had arrived to have his portrait done.

George: Jeremy I thought you were out of town staying at the Sim City home for the mentally impaired. When did you get released?

Jeremy: Oh I didn't get released. When Manu came to visit he told me about Kinsey's portraits. I was so excited the voices helped me plan my escape so I could come and pose.

Plasma: Nee naw nee naw. I'm the fashion police and you are clearly in violation of code 117. Hospital gowns should not be worn outside of a medical facility.

Jeremy: I like cake.

Plasma: Oh kay... Clearly I have my work cut out for me with this one.

That evening George realised why he had been ill. He was pregnant again. Kinsey had already gone to bed as he had to work in the morning saving more lives, so George decided to wait to tell him the unexpected news until after Kinsey had finished work.

Kinsey got up early and practiced some sim fu but he was interrupted when the fire alarm went off.

Indera Koch: Oh please someone save my house. Its burning!

Kinsey: I will do just that if you would kindly stand aside and stop blocking the only door to your hou..

Indera Koch: SAVE MY HOUSE!

Kinsey: As I just tried to tell you I need you to stop blocking the..

Indera Koch: IT'S BURNING!

So I cheated to get around this little glitch of path failure and teleported Kinsey inside the home. I feel guilty for using a cheat but this felt like one of those times it was needed to get past a glitch or bad programming.

Kinsey: People that leave candles burning unattended next to their flammable furniture and then block the front door of their home in their panic, deserve to have it turned into charcoal.

George: Ah Kinsey, remember our last game of fireman? Well it seems to have had an unexpected side effect.

George: I'm pregnant.

Kinsey: Really? That's great! I thought Plasma would be our last as we are not too far away from our elder birthdays. I wonder if it will be a boy or a girl and if its alien or human.

George: Do you think we will be able to handle chasing after a toddler as we grow old?

Kinsey: Of course we can. We also have the other children to help us. Meteor is almost an adult and Nebula has done a great job helping babysit Plasma. This baby with have a whole house full of people helping to chase after him.

It wasn't long before George started to get some weird cravings.

George: Mmmmm. Spaghetti and ice cream. I would never have thought these two foods would taste so awesome together.

In the morning Kinsey invited over the last of his cousins, Norris, to have his portrait done.

Kinsey started to paint the last portrait for all the generation four offspring.

But, as always happens when he's doing something important, the fire alarm put an end to his painting efforts for now.

As Kinsey raced into the home he couldn't help but wonder what would come first, his elder birthday or saving enough sims lives for his life time wish.

Another day passes, another house put out, another two sims closer to his goal.

Then Kinsey returned home to help celebrate Meteor's young adult birthday.

But as Meteor began his birthday sparkle everyone's attention was drawn elsewhere. George's water had just broke.

Meteor became a party animal and gained a life time goal of mastering mixology and owning his own bar.

Meteor: I'm actually pleased everyone was distracted by George going into labor. Hopefully I can sneak off to the dresser and change this horrid outfit before anyone notices.

Kinsey and George raced down to the hospital for the birth of their fifth child.

Soon little Quasar joined the family. A good genius alien baby boy.

George was quick to make sure all of Quasar's needs were attended to as soon as he walked in the door.

In the morning after his other siblings had left for school, Meteor began to work towards his life time goal and started to practice his drink making skills.

Which he then got Kinsey to taste test.

Kinsey: This one is quite good! Could do with a slice of lime but is quite smooth going down. Keep up the good work Meteor.

To end this chapter I thought I'd include a screen shot of all of Helix and Dianne's twins portraits finally finished and added to the family gallery in the basement. They are from left to right, Alberto, Randal, Manu, Clyde, Jeremy and Norris.

That's all for this update. 50 Chapters done feels like a bit of a milestone but still got a long way to go yet until the end of the legacy. Hope to see you again soon for more of the Pollination Legacy.

Chapter 49: Club Kids.

After George had yelled at Orbital for being out after curfew and both of them had gone to bed an unexpected visitor arrived. Unlike every thief that had come before her, this cunning cutpurse did not use the front door and set off the alarm. She made her way through the gate into the back yard.

She then proceeded to tip-toe about stealing objects from the yard.

Lucky for the Technician family Meteor is a light sleeper.

Meteor: I should let you know that while you were stealing the sculpture that used to be here I was calling the cops. Now be a good robber and run away please.

Burglar Lady: Oh yeah right. That bluff aint workin' on me. Where you keepin' your phone green boy? Your robe aint got no pockets.

It was not a bluff however and a police lady surprised the burglar and tackled her to the ground just as George and Kinsey came out to see what the commotion was.

Meteor: That's quite a beating that police woman is dishing out.

Meteor: That sounded like a bone breaking. Ooh I can't watch!

George: Relax son. Fights over. That was the sound of hand cuffs going on.

After taking the foiled robber out to her car the lady police officer checked the rest of the house where she ran into Light-Year.

Lady Officer: Oh my plumbob! You're Light-Year! I'm such a fan of your gardening blog. I would never have been able to grow my first money tree if it wasn't for your website. While I was checking the grounds I saw your money tree orchard you have and was totally blown away. Can you spare a few minutes to answer a few questions?

And so Light-Year and the police lady talked shop for the rest of the night while the robber waited patiently outside by the car to be taken down to the station.

Later that morning Kinsey continued in his quest to add all of Helix and Dianne's children to the family gallery and invited Clyde over.

Clyde: I just wanted to say thanks for including my brothers and I in the portrait gallery. It's great that you wanted to include us all.

And so Kinsey got started on the third of his cousin's portraits while Clyde posed in silence thinking about how awesome Kinsey was.

Clyde: Now that the portrait is done there is something I wanted to talk to you about. It's about Nebula.

Clyde: I think you should consider Nebula for the position of heir to the mission. She has far more alien looking features than Meteor. The only thing stopping you from selecting her is that she's a girl. I know the mission is to be handed down to green skinned sons but that was before Galaxy was the first alien to ever have a girl offspring.

Kinsey: I already have an heir to the mission. Meteor is my only green son so it will go to him.

Kinsey: And this is not the sort of thing to bring up right outside his bedroom where he can hear every word!

Clyde could tell Kinsey was angered by his suggestion and so said goodbye and made a bolt for the gate.

But Clyde had made Kinsey curious. What was the exact mission parameters? Was there anything about the mission going only to a son? Kinsey went down to the habitation module and checked Nine's old computer. Kinsey read through the brief then got to the part about the heir.

You are to find a human male to take as your mate and raise a litter of children. You will educate your spawn in our ways then select one to take over your mission when they have all reached pollination maturity. This mission will be handed down over ten generations ...

Nothing in the brief said the heir had to be a male child. Kinsey decided this was something he would have to think about about for a while before he made his choice.

Later that evening Kinsey called both his teenage boys out into the front yard for a surprise.

Kinsey: After Orbital was picked up by the police George and I had a bit of a talk. You two are both at that age where you want to try things like going out to night clubs so as it's Friday, and you don't have school in the morning, George and I decided to take you out to the club down the road, but only under our supervision.

So Light-Year and Nebula stayed at home to look after Plasma while the rest of the family went to the Bunker.

For Meteor it was love at first sight. The music, the lights, the atmosphere, he loved it all. He decided right there that one day he was going to own his own club just like this one.

Orbital and Meteor headed for the dance floor and started to bust a move or two.

While Kinsey sat down at the bar to keep and eye on them both and ordered a drink.

Back on the dance floor Meteor seemed to be attracting a lot of attention. Everyone was pulling out their phones and taking photos.

Fan Boy: Oh wow this is awesome! My friends are going to be so jealous when I tell them I met Lorne from Angel while I was out clubbing. Do that thing you do on the show, you know the one. Oh this is so totally cool. Best night ever!

Kinsey began to grow worried by the gathering crowd surrounding his heir. He decided that the boys had tasted enough of clubbing life for their first night out and that it was time to leave.

When they returned home Kinsey smiled to himself as the boys talked excitedly about the club. This was a much better than them sneaking out to go clubbing on their own. Now they could get their club fix and Kinsey could make sure they were safe.

In the morning Meteor got up and decided to invite Notzo over to spend their Saturday together.

Notzo soon arrived and ran into Kinsey out the front of the house checking the mail.

Notzo: Hello Mr Kinsey. I got a call from Meteor to come over and visit. After I hung up I realised I didn't know if he was here or on your homeworld. I decided to check here first as it's a lot closer to my place.

Kinsey: He's inside, I'll go get him for you.

Meteor: Hey Notzo. I can't wait to tell you all about last night at the club. Come on inside.

So Meteor and Notzo headed inside and got off to the same stilted start their interactions always begin with.

But Meteor had waited long enough to tell Notzo how he really felt. He scooted across to notzo's side of the couch and put his arm around him.

Orbital looked up from his morning workout just in time to catch their first kiss.

He thought it was a good idea to cut his workout short and give them some privacy.

Meteor: So um Notzo, would you like to be my boyfriend?

Notzo first had to check with the voices in his head but they said it was OK and the two of them embraced.

Plasma: Photobomb!

And that's all for this update. I'll try and get another out soon as its only two more days until I get my graphics card replaced and can actually play sims again.

Hello and welcome back to my sims 3 legacy using Pinstar's rules. If this is your first time here please start at Chapter One.

Chapter 48: Trouble Teen.

It was late at night before Kinsey finally put out the last of the fires caused by the earthquake, climbed into the fire engine and headed for home.

By the time he walked in the door he was close to passing out from exhaustion.

He felt much better after a good night sleep. Randal came over the day after the quake to thank Kinsey for saving his life.

So Kinsey took the opportunity to get him to pose for a portrait for the family gallery.

But a fireman's work is never finished.

Kinsey: You left your toddler with a packet of matches to entertain himself with and now your house is on fire? Sure I'll be right over.

While Kinsey raced off to fight another fire Meteor was busy at the bar. He was trying to make a drink so special it would help people fall in love, something he had been trying unsuccessfully to get Notzo to do. His first attempt at a love potion didn't work out so well. The smell was so bad no one would ever get close enough to drink it.

A few days later it was time for yet another birthday or two. Plasma was about to leave her toddler days behind her and Orbital was about to become a teenager.

She became ambitious and, when added to her evil trait, kick started her mind into plotting evil schemes. Don't let the rainbow lull you into a false sense of security.

Thankfully she is also absent minded so those evil mastermind plots will be forgotten before she finishes her cake.

And no birthday is complete without an emergency calling Kinsey away in the middle of it.

Kinsey dealt with it as quick as he could and returned in time to see Orbital blow out his candles.

He became a natural at kissing and was eager to get a chance to try it out as his hormones kicked into gear.

Orbital: Hey dads do you think I could get a new computer for my birthday? I want to try some of those online dating sites.

George: Oh no you will not! You're still too young to be hooking up online. You can start out slow by meeting someone at school and holding hands like normal people. Cyberspace is full of sexual predators just waiting for jail bait like you to log on.

So Orbital went and worked out some frustration on the treadmill.

George: Do you think I was too harsh with Orbital? It is his birthday after all.

Kinsey: No you said the right thing. We don't want him meeting up with someone that will take advantage of him. Although speaking of taking advantage of someone in a sexual manner did you know I'm a fireman?

George and Kinsey woohooed until they were both spent and fell fast asleep.

Orbital however did not go to sleep. He crept into his parents room to make sure they were both in bed.

Then he made his way quickly out of the house.

Grabbing George's car keys on his way out, he jumped into the sports car and headed towards the town.

A new night club had opened up in town called the Bunker. It had been set up in an old bomb shelter and converted into a dance club.

As Orbital nervously walked down the steps he tried to keep his cool and act like he was an adult who went to clubs all the time so the bouncer would let him in.

He could hear the music pumping loudly as he got closer. Orbital swallowed hard, as though the act of swallowing might swallow the fear along with it, then approached the bouncer.

Orbital: Hey do I need ID to get in because I think I left my license in my other pants when I got changed into my clubbing clothes.

Bouncer: Well I'll let you in this one time but bring your ID with you next time OK.

Orbital: Thank mister Bouncer sir. You're totally awesome!

Bouncer: He called me sir! What a nice kid.

Orbital walked up to the bar and looked about the club. He watched as the barman mixed some fancy drinks for another customer and waited for his turn to order one for himself.

Unfortunately for Orbital a police officer came into the club checking IDs. She recognised Orbital as being only a teen out after curfew and gave him a ride in the blue light taxi back home.

The officer had called ahead and a furious George was waiting out the front of the house for Orbital.

George: What the Plumbob were you thinking, sneaking out to a night club in the middle of the night! You could have been stabbed or robbed or killed or kidnapped or sexually assaulted or...

Orbital: Yeah or I could have had a fun night out. I got my first day of high school in a few hours. See yah in the morning Dad.

As Orbital climbed into bed he dreaded facing his dads in the morning and whatever punishment was coming.

As its been three weeks since the last update, let us do a quick tour of the house and see what the Technicians are up to. George is taking the early shift looking after their youngest, Plasma, while Kinsey has a bit of a sleep in before he starts work for the day.

Meteor, Nebula and Orbital are busy with breakfast before school. Light-Year is still in bed after staying out late at his cousin's party.

Plasma was behaving much better as a toddler than she had as a baby. Regular sleep patterns established meant George could have some time to practice his sim-fu in the back yard.

But he didn't practice for long as today was Nebula's birthday. George had a party to prepare for when the children got home from school.

Jupiter, Alberto and Notzo were the first to arrive. Jupiter was happy to be back in the old home as living with the insane Ion for her only company was sometimes draining.

Willie: Boo. This Notzo guy's genetics are not worthy of this legacy. He should go find an uglacy where he belongs.

Soon the party was underway and Nebula stepped up to the cake.

She became unflirty as she entered her teenage years.

Nebula: Thanks for throwing me a party Dad. I know it was a big risk considering how glitchy parties can make life for us. I made a wish for error twelve to never been seen again in this household.

Titus, for once in his sim life, was super efficient in his maid duties.

Manu: But.. but... I wanted cake too.

Notzo: I think I'm going to cry with disappointment.

The lack of cake to go round didn't worry Jupiter. She had been distracted by cousin Alberto's piano playing. Although it sounded like a forth grade piano recital, Jupiter found herself drawn to watching those strong arms move up and down the keys. In case you were wondering she is still yet to find herself a man through story progression.

Speaking of love, Willie has been reunited with his old love of the trampoline and spent the entire party out here.

Kinsey: Don't worry too much about missing out on cake Manu. There will be many more birthdays to come. Plasma is next I think. We can throw another party then and you get first dibs on cake.

Meanwhile Meteor was giving Notzo a private tour of the family galley.

Notzo: I like the paining of Nine. It's so lime and limes are delicious.

Meteor: I didn't bring you down here to show you the art Notzo. I wanted to get you alone so I could tell you something I've wanted to tell you for a while.

Alas the moment was spoiled by uncle Ion.

Ion: I just had to come find you and tell you about how awesome this party is Meteor. I know you didn't throw the party and you didn't spend much time at the party but I still had to come tell you how awesome it is. Do you know how much of the party I've spent trying to find you to tell you that?

Meteor: Your timing is perfect uncle. It's like somewhere in that head of yours is an insanity radar that guides you to just the right place at the right time to cause well made plans to come undone.

Notzo had run off home before Meteor could get him alone again to ask him out on a date. Meteor decided the best way to cope with this was located behind the bar. He spent a bit of time trying to come up with the ultimate mood drink to pull himself back up.

Kinsey: I hope you had a good birthday Nebula. It was a great chance to catch up with the family. For a change I was able to be here instead of out fighting fires and saving lives.

Nebula: I'm pleased no one set fire to anything today. Thanks for the party dad.

Plasma spent the whole party sitting on the floor reading her picture books.

George: Party is all over my little alien princess. Time for a rocketship ride up in the air.

Plasma: Hehe. Wheee!

George: And then the rocketship blasts out of the solar system and it's time for the alien princess to enter cryo-sleep.

After spending the day in the garden assisted by Gnomad and Metrognome, Light-Year completed his life time goal of having a perfect garden.

That afternoon Nebula and Meteor left high school and Notzo invited himself home with them.

Then something happened as they rode the school bus home.

Nebula: Did you feel that? It was like the whole area shook.

Meteor: I think it was an Earthquake.

Light-Year felt it too and came running inside to tell Kinsey.

The alarm went off and Kinsey raced out the door to tend to whatever emergency the quake had caused.

As he climbed into the fire engine and drove off Kinsey could already see the smoke of many fires across Sunset Valley. This looked like it was going to be a long day.

First was the home of his cousins, Helix and Dianne's children.

Kinsey found Randal Technician unconscious under a pile of rubble and quickly set about saving his cousin's life.

Then he raced on to save Randal's wife Samara.

Once everyone of his cousins and their families were safe Kinsey raced across the town to the next quake damaged home.

Each life he saved took him one step closer to his life time goal.

Back at the house Meteor and Notzo were watching the quake stories on the news. Meteor closed his eyes and tried to summon the courage to put his arm around Notzo.

His romantic thoughts were put on hold again though when Notzo turned and spoke.

Notzo: Oh no! I think that was my parents house on fire that they just showed on the news.

Notzo: I have to go make sure they are ok.

And with that he got up and raced out the door without waiting for Meteor to reply.

That's all for this chapter. Continue to the Next Chapter.
